Random Things You Need to Know

Check back periodically as we add to this list.

All Weekend
* Stow it, don't show it! Don't leave any bags in your car in plain sight. If you MUST leave something in your car, put it in your trunk PRIOR to arriving at your parking destination. We are not responsible for anyone's misfortune.
* In public dance halls, there are not secure places to store bags, coats, shoes, luggage, etc.--so please keep stuff to a minimum Friday and Sunday for your comfort and enjoyablity.

Friday Night Dance & Late Night
* Private venue, ages18+
* Full bar with food served after 10:00pm, $10 a plate (menu tba).
* This is a private location with some storage for bags (still no coat check, though).

Saturday Tour & Lunch
* Carpool lists available at the desk Friday night.
* You don't need to buy a tour ticket in advance.

Saturday Night Blow Out
* Private venue, ages 18+
* This dance is BYOB in true Juke Joint style (free set-ups available: cups, ice, soda)
* This is a private location with more storage for bags (still no coat check, though.)

Sunday Church Outing
* Make arrangements on your own--we will have sign-up sheets for carpooling at the night time dances.
* Service begins at 11:30am.

Sunday Night Pub Crawl on Beale Street
* Public venues, some 18+ and some 21+.
* Bring earplugs for the Beale St. Pub Crawl Sunday. Bands can be extremely loud at times.
* Bring as little with you as possible (put stuff in pockets, carry shoes, etc.) as there are no coat checks on Beale St. or people to watch your purses/bags.
* There will be a separate flyer with all venues and a map; just grab one to carry around in your pocket.

Other stuff...
* Did we mention we cannot be responsible for lost items? PLEASE keep your stuff safe at home!
