Gibson Guitar Factory - See where the Gibson Guitars are made. Tours available.

Smithsonian Rock and Soul Musuem - The Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum’s exhibition about the birth of rock and soul music, created by the Smithsonian Institution, tells the story of musical pioneers who, for the love of music, overcame racial and socio-economic barriers to create the music that shook the entire world.

Sun Studios - Birthplace of Rock N Roll. Website features an audio/visual tour of the legendary studio where Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash began their careers. Tours available.

Stax - 17,000-square-foot facility with more than 2,000 cultural artifacts, music exhibits, video footage, and items of memorabilia is designed to preserve and promote the legacy of American soul music. Tours available.

Graceland - home of Elvis Presley. Tours available.

Memphis Music Store 149 Beale St - Memphis music has “Blues you can Use”. The largest Blues specialty store in the world. Shop here for your Blues, Gospel, Rock N’ Roll and jazz CD’s, cassettes and videos.

The Center for Southern Folklore 119 S. Main Street - north of Beale St. up Main St. on the brick path (map) - The Center provides a cafe serving up Southern delicacies as well as a store filled with Memphis folk art, photography, live music, cds, and more.
